The “Morissette Is Made” in Davao concert is undoubtedly a not-to-miss live performance since it features two of the most powerful voices of the Philippine’s pop music industry. This is on September 2, 8 PM at the SMX Convention Center. This is also a homecoming of sorts for the Cebuana artist because her father Mr. Amon, is originally from Davao.

What is your favorite line from your recent favorite Visayan song? Why?

“My current favorite Visayan song, which I’ve been singing in the concert, is ‘Puhon’ originally by Kurt Fick. I fell in love with it because it’s such a relatable good vibes song. The whole song is about being patient for love, and I’m always inspired singing the lines “Ang gugma nga pang- now or never will be over too fast.. Mao nang ako, I’d rather wait for kanang the kind of love that will last.” And that’s true!”

-Morissette, who will also be one of the awardees of the prestigious PeopleAsia magazine for its upcoming “Women of Style and Substance” issue.

“Morissette is the next big thing in the music industry. She is preparing for her international stardom as she collaborated with Michael Bolton and Jessie J soon,” says young concert producer Glenn Aldueza of Aldueza Entertainment Productions (AEP).

In Cebu, she mesmerized the audience with her cover of a Regine Velasquez original “Pangarap Ko Ay Ibigin Ka,” replete with a whistle. How about in Davao, in which song shall we hear the Asia’s Phoenix’ world-class whistle?

“Morissette Is Made” is produced by AEP and sponsored by SMDC and Frontrow.
